40x30 Layers of tissue paper and acrylic paint board with resin, 40x30

This piece is the story of life. The “watching” as we work but the desire to ultimately be. Along the bottom is a crowd watching which was inspired by the first Nasa launch in the sixties. The man walking is pursuing the dream as is represented by the text Pursuit which was from a vintage orange crate. There is a sense that we go through our lives forever pursuing a place of comfort. The piece is resined and has a reflectiveness to it. This adds a touch of sparkle to the piece. It is framed in a light wash wood Walnut frame.
